Questions to ask kitchen and/or bathroom manufacturer or supplier
Are you BSA Licensed? Did you know... not all kitchen and bathroom sellers are licensed builders? It's critical to confirm that ny tradesman you employ holds the appropriate license. The BSA is a licensing authority that ensures consumer protection; you have the peace of mind about your money and commitment to ensure that the job is done. By engaging the services of a BSA licensed company, you are assured this protection. Some kitchen sellers don't have a BSA License. At TRENDS, our BSA License is 1139411.
What type of builders license does your company hold? There are many types of builders licensing available, a cabinetry license is a certain level of achievement, which means installing cabinetry, and some kitchen sellers don't even have this. At TRENDS, our BSA license is a full builders license which means a high level of knowledge and the peace of mind that we can perform all the work we say we can.

What is the Guarantee you offer? This is important in any purchase, you will benefit from the long term benefits of dealing with a company whose reputation is backed by suppliers that create the best quality on the market. At TRENDS we only use the best quality such as Blum or Grass from Austria, that come with lifetime guarantees, and other moving parts such as baskets etc from Kessebohmer in Germany, our boards are also made in Australia to Australian standards and we don't substitute cheaper Asian copies after you have decided to go with us as your manufacturer, it's our guarantee of quality to our clients.
Can you give me testimonials of satisfied clients that I can call regarding the quality of your workmanship? Written testimonial are great, however hearing from a satisfied client is the best recommendation, if you cannot personally speak to some satisfied clients, then how do you truly know what you're getting?
Are you manufacturing my cabinets specifically to suit my requirements without unnecessary fillers and blank panels just to cater for standard sizes? Some suppliers will make a kitchen from standard size cabinets that are made to fit into most kitchen scenarios and then fill in the left over spaces with blank fillers and or panels, even worse they can do this with imported cabinets from Asia without considering the implications of the strictest Australian Standards in Formaldehyde and other chemicals that are often used to make carcass and door boards. At TRENDS, we not only make everything in our factory custom made especially for you directly, we use only the best Australian Standard Boards of E1 and E0 and its all made here for you, in our factory in Queensland.
